Job Title: Volunteer Editor

Position Overview

• As a Volunteer Editor at Lily Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our policies are clear, concise, and align with our organizational values.
• You will work closely with the People & Culture Department to review and edit various policies, making them more accessible and understandable for our staff, stakeholders, and the public.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and edit organizational policies, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to gather input and feedback on policy revisions.
• Ensure that policies are consistent with the organization's mission and values.
• Identify areas where policies can be simplified or improved for better comprehension.
• Assist in maintaining an organized repository of policies and related documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.

Qualifications

• Excellent writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• An understanding of policy development and governance principles is a plus but not required.
• Dedication to upholding organizational values and mission.
• Reliable and committed to meeting deadlines.
• Experience in editing or policy-related work is a plus but not required.
