Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Job Title: Laundry Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department: Laundry Services

Summary of Responsibilities

• Responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the hospital’s laundry operations.
• This includes overseeing the washing, drying, folding, and distribution of linens and other textiles to various departments within the hospital.
• The supervisor is also responsible for ensuring compliance with infection control and safety standards.

Job Requirements

• WASSCE / SSCE or equivalent
• Additional education or certification in laundry management is an advantage.
• Prior experience in laundry operations, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards related to laundry operations.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
• Availability to work after hours, weekends and holidays if required to ensure continuous laundry operations.
