Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Job Title: Bed Bookings Clerk

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department: Finance and Administration

Summary of Responsibilities

• A suitably qualified customer-orientated person to provide timeous, efficient theatre booking services, including administrative functions and liaison with theatres, nursing departments and doctors regarding bed capacities.

Job Requirements

• WASSCE / SSCE / Matric or equivalent
• Knowledge of hospital procedures and medical aids
• Computer literate - must be accurate and pay attention to detail
• 2 years experience in reception/admissions in a private healthcare setting with specific attention to coordinating bed bookings with specialists’ rooms. An understanding of theatre processes would be an advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Organised and able to work well under pressure
• Ability to engage various stakeholders and must be able to deliver exceptional customer service.
