Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Skilled and professional staff form the foundation of a well-run hospital. The hospital will provide up-to-date facilities and services allowing our medical professionals to work efficiently and effectively.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and their families, offering guidance, information, support, and assistance throughout their healthcare journey.
• This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring a positive patient experience and efficient hospital operations. 

Job Requirements

• WASSCE/SSCE or equivalent
• A further qualification in healthcare administration or a related field would be advantageous
• Previous experience in a customer service or patient services role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on empathy and active listening
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using hospital information systems and software
• Ability to engage various stakeholders and must be able to deliver exceptional customer service
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English with people at all levels.
