Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality control program to ensure the highest standards of healthcare services, patient safety, and regulatory compliance within the hospital.
• This role plays a pivotal part in continuously improving the quality of care and services provided.
• This position is instrumental in ensuring that the hospital provides safe, effective, and high-quality healthcare services.
• By overseeing quality control initiatives, data analysis, and compliance efforts, this role contributes to the hospital’s commitment to excellence in patient care.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, nursing, or a related field 
• Previous experience in quality control or healthcare quality management.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and performance improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
