Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Skilled and professional staff form the foundation of a well-run hospital. The hospital will provide up-to-date facilities and services allowing our medical professionals to work efficiently and effectively.

Job Title: Confirmation Clerk

Summary of Responsibilities

• Suitably qualified, customer-orientated person to provide timeous, efficient liaison between funders, hospital and patient.
• The position encompasses all aspects of the confirmation process as well as other duties as necessary.

Job Requirements

• WASSCE / SSCE / Matric or equivalent
• A Nursing qualification would be an advantage
• Must have at least 2 years of confirmations experience
• Computer literate, accurate, stringent attention to details
• Organised and able to work well under pressure
• Displays initiative and able to work independently
• Customer-orientated with good interpersonal and communication skills including excellent telephone skills
• Ability to engage various stakeholders and must be able to deliver exceptional customer service.
