Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Job Title: Biomedical Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department: Technical and Maintenance

Summary of Responsibilities

• Installing, testing, calibrating and repairing of biomedical equipment; training users; maintaining safe operations.
• Approving new equipment by conducting tests, ensuring adherence to codes and making modifications.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent is required
• Current up certification by relevant councils and bodies as required 
• Documentation skills
• Excellent analytical skills
• Sound knowledge of Infection Prevention and Control Principles
• Good conceptual skills
