Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Skilled and professional staff form the foundation of a well-run hospital. The hospital will provide up-to-date facilities and services allowing our medical professionals to work efficiently and effectively.

Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Department: Human Resources 

Summary of Responsibilities

• Suitably qualified, customer-orientated person to provide general administrative services and assistance to the Human Resources Manager.
• The position encompasses secretarial administrative and staff liaison duties as well as other duties necessary for the smooth running of the department.

Job Requirements

• WASSCE / SSCE or equivalent
• Currently employed in a similar position 
• HR qualification and hospital experience would be an advantage
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office experience with meticulous attention to detail
• Must be familiar with current legislation
• Customer-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills
• Deadline-driven and able to meet all target dates
• Able to work well under pressure, participative and able to work as part of a team
• Ability to ensure and treat all aspects of HR with strictest confidentiality at all times
• Able to work flexible hours – for day and night staff
