Halcom Management Services (HMS) - Our client, an international standard, multi-speciality, acute hospital located in Port Harcourt, Rivers State is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2024. Facilities and services provided include: emergency care, surgical, medical, internal medicine, family medicine, renal care, gynaecology, obstetrics, paediatrics, pathology, physiotherapy radiology and pharmacy. Skilled and professional staff form the foundation of a well-run hospital. The hospital will provide up-to-date facilities and services allowing our medical professionals to work efficiently and effectively.

Job Title: Procurement Supervisor

Department: Finance and Administration

Summary of Responsibilities

• Suitably qualified, customer-oriented person responsible for the efficient, timeous ordering and receiving of stock, maintaining suitable levels to ensure the smooth running of all departments whilst ensuring good credit and cashflow practices are maintained.

Job Requirements

• WASSCE / SSCE or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience in procurement in a private hospital setting
• A good working knowledge of suppliers and market prices
• Computer literate - must be accurate and pay attention to detail
• Organised and able to work well under pressure
• Good communication, negotiating and interpersonal skills
• Ability to engage various stakeholders and must be able to deliver exceptional customer service.
