Job Description
- The primary responsibility of the Bakery Manager is day to day administration, infrastructure, and inventory support for retail sales and customer support.
- The Bakery Manager manages the day-to-day operations of the bakery department in a grocery store to ensure the quality of products and services provided to customers.
Essential Job Description
- Over sees operations and staffing for the bakery department within a grocery store.
- Manages pastry making and baking, suggests changes to inventory and pricing, and purchases supplies when needed.
- Responsible for department staff training, assignments, and scheduling.
- Leads and directs the work of others.
- Monitors the daily operations of the bakery department, including food preparation and handling, material purchasing, inventory management.
- Develops and supervises food handling procedures, ensuring they are carried out in a proper and safe manner.
- Organizes and oversees bakery department personnel, including performance management and staff training programs.
- Provides superior customer service in the bakery department; guides department employees in resolving complex customer issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in: Marketing, Business Management or Business studies
- Applicants must have 3-5 years' experience in sales management, culinary experience , must have work in a Bakery or restaurant with proven track record in managing and directing highly skilled, motivated, successful and result-oriented sales force
