We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Financial Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Prompt preparation of Accounts for the Company.
• Prompt preparation of financial modelling in prescribed format and preparation of business plans
• Prompt preparation and submission of annual budget for the forthcoming year
• Source and secure the right funding for the company as at when required
• Adequate supervision and preparation of required tax schedule for both LIRS, RIRS & FIRS upon demand.
• Representing the Company for all required tax meetings on tax matters
• Prompt collection of tax clearance certificates within Q1 each year
• Responsible for adequate tax management arrangement: VAT, WHT follow-up and remittances.
• Manages ITF, PAYE, PENSION etc.
• Responsible for maximum minimization of operating expenses 
• Prompt organization of MPR (monthly performance report).
• Provide support to all profit centre heads to drive the attainment of the budget.
• Develop competencies in teammates to support all business development teams – Quotations/Pricing strategy.
• Support business development in pricing, business support and cost-benefit analysis to avoid loss of sales.
• Maintain standardized internal control processes and procedure
• Oversee the accounting activities of all subsidiaries & ensure seamless day-to-day finance operations.
• Supervise and ensure up-to-date SLAs with subcontractors and that they are adhered to; where applicable.
• General oversight of Admin function to attain optimal use of resources and efficient/effective facility management.

Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting or related discipline
• An experienced Chartered Accountant with a minimum experience of 5-8 years of experience
• Leadership skills
• People Management skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
