Job Title: Reservations Agent

Location: Lekki, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking for detail-oriented reservation agent to assist our guests with their booking needs. You will provide various planning and booking services, including answering guests’ questions, making reservation suggestions, and booking rooms and restaurants.
• To be successful as a Reservation Agent you must be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent customer service skills.
• Additionally, you should be able to up-sell and have excellent knowledge of deals and savings available to guests.

Responsibilities

• Assisting and advising guests who may be choosing from a variety of room options.
• Making reservations for guests based on their various requirements and budgets.
• Checking the availability of accommodation or transportation on the guests’ desired check-in dates.
• Helping plan accommodation itineraries by suggesting most convenient and comfortable suite as guests may prefer.
• Processing payments and sending confirmation details to guests.
• Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
• Selling and promoting reservation services.
• Answering any questions guests might have about the reservation process.
• Up-selling, when appropriate, by informing guests of additional services or special packages, such as suites packages and ambiences or aesthetics.
• Providing support to customers who may need to amend or cancel a reservation.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel or Hospitality Services or related courses
• Minimum of 3 years experience
• Customer-service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Data entry experience.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 / month.
