3MAT Supermarket is a Nigerian supermarket store and supplier of groceries from the UK & USA1.It is located at Shop 2, Association Road, Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi.

Description 

• We are currently seeking experienced and responsible Drivers to join our team at 3MAT Supermarkets.
• As a Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods to and from various locations.
• You will be responsible for maintaining the delivery schedule, ensuring vehicle safety, and providing exceptional service to our customers.

Responsibilities
Safe Transportation:

• Operate company vehicles (such as delivery trucks or vans) in a safe and responsible manner.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Safely load and unload goods, securing them to prevent damage during transit.

Delivery and Pick-Up:

• Deliver products to designated locations, following established routes and schedules.
• Accurately complete delivery paperwork, including receipts and signatures.
• Pick up items, returns, or orders as required.

Vehicle Maintenance:

• Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after each trip.
• Report any mechanical issues, accidents, or incidents promptly.
• Ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained.

Customer Service:

• Interact with customers professionally and courteously during deliveries.
• Provide assistance with unloading and placement of goods, if required.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner.

Logistics Support:

• Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and restocking products as needed.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and unloading.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess an OND / SSCE with 2 - 5 years work experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a driver, preferably in a delivery or commercial setting.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.
• Strong sense of responsibility and safety consciousness.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Experience with delivery software and GPS navigation systems.
• Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and permits for commercial driving.
• Multilingual abilities for effective communication with diverse customers.
