Dogan’s Sugar Limited is incorporated in July 2013 in Lagos, Nigeria as a European invested company for the will to produce quality sugar products in Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Technician

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Equipment Maintenance:Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on mechanical equipment such as vacuum, motors, conveyors and systems.
• Installation:Assist in the installation of new mechanical systems and equipment, including assembly, alignment, and calibration.
• Troubleshooting:Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Repair:Repair or replace faulty mechanical components, including bearings, valves, gears, and pneumatic systems.
• Documentation:Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and service logs.
• Safety:Adhere to safety protocols and ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
• Collaboration:Work collaboratively with other technicians and maintenance teams to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Tool Management:Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and spare parts inventory to ensure availability when needed.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Trade Test.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatic, and production machines.
• Skilled in using a variety of hand and power tools for mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Safety-conscious with a commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines.
