Job Description

• We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Venue Manager to oversee the management of our hall and drive customer acquisition for events and functions.
• As the Manager, you will be saddled with the responsibility of ensuring the smooth operation of the venue, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction, and maximizing revenue through effective marketing and customer relationship management.
• This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a keen business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute events hosted at the venue, ensuring seamless operations.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their event requirements and provide exceptional service.
• Supervise event setup, breakdown, and ensure that all aspects run according to plan.
• Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
• Conduct tours and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the venue's features and amenities.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to secure profitable business deals.
• Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly and professionally.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the venue is well-maintained and meets safety standards.
• Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling, to ensure efficient event execution.
• Monitor and manage budgetary concerns related to events, sales, and venue operations.
• Implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability.
• Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and strategies.
• Collaborate with external partners, such as caterers and decorators, to enhance the overall event experience when need arises.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in any related field.
• Proven experience in venue and event management, event planning, or a similar role.
• Good sales and marketing skills, with a track record of customer acquisition and retention.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with clients and vendors.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple events simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft office suite.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and willingness to ensure compliance.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.
