Job Title: Chinese Translator / Interpreter

Location: Isherioke, Lagos

Job Description

• We are looking to recruit a Chinese Translator / Interpreter to interpret written, audio, and oral pieces from Chinese language to English language, making sure to maintain their original meaning, format, and tone.

Responsibilities

• Interpret oral, audio, and written pieces from Chinese to English
• Ensure translated content conveys original meaning and tone
• Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling, and punctuation accuracy
• Follow up with internal team members and clients to ensure translation meets their needs
• Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format (e.g., font and structure)
• Note: the job is a factory job (production company) the candidate will be doing more of translation and administrative job.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
• Chinese Proficiency Certificate Examination (HSK IV) (Optional but it is an advantage)
• Proven work experience as a Translator, Interpreter, or similar role
• Fluency in Chinese and English languages
• Familiarity with translation software and basic technical terms
• Time-management skills.
