We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Head, Accounts and Finance

Location: Awoyaya - Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Financial Recordkeeping:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and accounts payable/receivable.
  • Record all financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management and stakeholders.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Collaborate in the development of budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor actual financial performance against budgets and provide variance analysis.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

  • Manage accounts payable by processing invoices, verifying expenses, and ensuring timely payments.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments.

Bank Reconciliation:

  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4 - 6 years relevant work experience.
  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ICAN) is a plus.
  • Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.

Salary
N120,000 - N150,000 Monthly.
