The company core area of operation is to provide a broad spectrum of services ranging from Engineering, Pipeline & Flowline Construction / Repairs, Facility piping and maintenance, Wellhead & Christmas tree maintenance and servicing, Composite wrap technology, Equipment & Offshore / Marine Supplies, etc.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Pipeline Surveillance Support Service Officer

Location: Cross River
Start Date: 1st November 2023

Job Purpose

• Collate, process information streams by conducting analysis and facilitating information sharing with appropriate parties in preventing, interventions/aversions, and responding to crude oil theft related crimes and incidents.

Requirements
Academics:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

Work Experience:

• 2 years’ experience in data management
• Key Interfaces: IT, Pipeline RoW, SOC/Security

Age:

•  <=45-years

Technology Platforms:

• MS Office suite of applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc)

Professional Certifications:

• Data analytics, environmental health and safety management, engineering, or relevant studies.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Reports to Head of Availability and RoW Management

HSE:

• UA/UC Reporting - Knowledge
• ILSR - Awareness
• Goal Zero - Awareness

Technical:

• Data gather and analyses – Mastery
• Maintain data base and conduct trend analysis - Knowledge
• Operation of digital cameras with integrated GPS - Knowledge
• Operations of video systems - Knowledge
• Operations of Infra-red (both automatic and hand-held) systems – Knowledge
• Capability in the use of cutting-edge IT & Geomatic Tools Resource - Skill
• Incidents investigation and security intelligence coordination – Knowledge
• Strong communication (verbal and written), presentation, and visualization skills to develop reports and presentations - Knowledge

Additional Information:

• Possess recent T-BOSIET or HUET certification
• Awareness of the geography of SPDC operations assets – East & West.
• Pipelines & their RoWs – East & West
• Has good relational abilities – requirements to ensure working cordial relationship with flight crew.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment
• Support assets and projects Physical Asset Verifications (PAV) exercise.
• Has excellent analytical skills and appreciates a technical challenge.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills. Effective managing and prioritizing multiple task

Key Challenges:

• Long flying hours and screen time.

Work Cycle:

• The work location is mostly office based. There is however possibility for periodical visit to remote facilities accessible via land transport, helicopter or boat, as business demands.
• Personnel shall manage own absences with his/her contractor for suitable qualified covers, as approved by Client.
