Job Description

• SPIE Services Nigeria Limited is currently looking for an HVAC Technician to join its work force in Nigeria.
• Performs on-site maintenance operations which are placed under his responsibility.
• Works with direction from Engineer or Vendors.
• Respects all Company’s HSE regulations (especially procedures related to work permit), as well as approved operating procedures and standard industry practice during the performance of maintenance operations placed under his responsibility.
• Executes all maintenance and repairs to plant and equipment in a safe and efficient manner and in strict compliance with company operating procedures and any relevant statutory legislation in order to maintain all such equipment in sound and safe operating conditions.
• Ensure all worksites are clean and tidy on completion of works.
• Ensures all problems are immediately highlighted to Engineer and Company.
• Participates fully in pre-work assessment and risk assessments and abides by the recommendations.
• Ensure all near misses and accidents are reported.

Profile

• A basic knowledge of the process of oil and gas treatment, installations and a thorough knowledge of the equipment used in oil and gas treatment installations
• HVAC Specific: All HVAC plant and controls (AHU’s, Fan’s, motors, Belt drives, All Refrigeration and Freezer room equipment and its associated controls)

Candidate criteria:

• Minimum level of experience required: 6 years or more

Required Authorisations:

• BOSIET + CAEBS
• Electrical Habilitation
• Medical Fitness

Languages:

• English (C-Professional working proficiency).
