IITA is an international non-profit agricultural research-for-development (R4D) organization established in 1967, governed by a Board of Trustees, and a member of the CGIAR Consortium. Job Title: Research Technician II

Responsibilities
- Clean/sort planting materials for Laboratory, Screen house and field trials;
- Involves in field layout, ensures timely planting and harvesting of experimental materials;
- Involves in plant sampling for laboratory analysis;
- Collect data on laboratory, screen house and field trials;
- Enter data into computer from electronic field and other sources for analyses;
- Involves in arranging training for farmers;
- Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of glass/screen house working environments;
- Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience
- The candidate must have an NCE/OND in Agriculture or related field with at least 2 years' experience in a similar position.
