- As a Customer Service Representative, you will play a vital role in providing excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and assisting policyholders in a professional and efficient manner.
- Your primary responsibility is to ensure a positive and satisfying experience for our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Support: Provide prompt and courteous assistance to policyholders and potential customers via telephone, email, or in person.
- Policy Inquiries: Address customer inquiries regarding insurance policies, coverages, claims, and billing, providing clear and accurate information.
- Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer issues and concerns, escalating more complex matters as needed.
- Policy Management: Process policy changes, updates, and cancellations as per established procedures.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate customer records and interactions in our database.
- Sales Support: Assist in policy renewals, cross-selling, and upselling additional coverage when opportunities arise.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a consistent and high-quality customer service experience.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on insurance products, industry trends, and company procedures through training and self-study.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Must have at least 1 year experience
- Previous customer service experience in insurance or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving customer concerns.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Professionalism, reliability, and a customer-centric attitude.
- Knowledge of insurance products and terminology is a significant advantage.
- Willingness to adhere to ethical standards, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance.
