Job Summary

• The Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the work of their engineering teams.
• He/She commonly provide leadership, guidance, and direction to their staff while also ensuring that projects meet quality standards and deadlines.

Essential Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the work of a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required standard
• Monitor progress and quality of work, and provide feedback and direction to team members
• Liaise with other departments, managers, and clients as necessary
• Allocate tasks and responsibilities to team members
• Identify training and development needs within the team and arrange for appropriate training to be delivered Keep up to date with developments in engineering and technology
• Plan and implement changes, improvements, and new initiatives
• Write reports and documentation Investigate potential problems and recommend solutions
• Supervise the work of contractors and consultants
• Ensuring that all safety procedures are in place and followed by workers
• Coordinating with engineers or other supervisors to set priorities for projects and ensuring that they are met.

Essential Requirements

• Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
• 5 - 6 years’ experience in similar fields
• Experience in Production/Quality knowledge of entire process.
