Function
- The Job holder shall act as a focal point for supervising the planning and performance of the welding and NDT operations in accordance with the HSE requirements, applicable documents and best industry practice.
Duties and Responsibility
- Ensuring that welding/NDT activities are carried out by Contractors in accordance with approved Welding/NDT Procedure Specifications, Method Statements, Project Specifications, Project Procedures and relevant Codes & Standards.
- Performing Inspection and supervision of the welding/NDT Activities carried out on the Construction sites and/or Contractor's work shops in accordance with approved Contractors ITP Inspection points and related notifications.
- Performing routine surveillance of the activities carried out on the Construction sites and/or Contractor's workshops, minimizing any adverse Impact on the scheduling of the activities.
- Ensuring that Inspection & Test Plans are timely basis applied by Contractors and that project requirements as listed In ITP are fulfilled for each welding/NDT activity.
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum High School Certificate plus certificate or diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
- Successfully completed apprenticeship or equivalent vocational training.
- 8 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry
Special Requirement:
- Valid Medicals, BOSIET, HUET and Technical Certification.
