Sevan Construction Nigeria Limited was established in 1981 with Registration No. RC 37125 as a limited liability company specialized in all kinds of Structural Steel fabrication design & erection to the civil construction and Oil & Gas Industries, development and manufacturing of various semi-trailers, rigid truck bodies, which enabled the company to deliver complete projects of steel structures coupled with civil engineering.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Assistant

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Assist store manager with records and reports related to various aspects of inventory control and administration.
• Assist with inventory, including such duties as processing orders, receiving and reconciling shipments of merchandise.
• Contact vendors to resolve problems and customer complaints as assigned by the Store Manager.
• Receiving and verifying the quality and quantity of new supplies.
• Maintain detailed records and documentations concerning defective goods, return goods to vendors, and provide follow-up to obtain replacement or credit.
• Enforcing in-store security and health and safety procedures and regulations.
• Provide back-up support to store operations as assigned.
• Deliver supplies to work stations and maintain records of deliveries.
• Consult with vendor representatives concerning products and services as required.
• Implement and Recommend changes to store policies and procedures in line with ISO Standards.
• Keeping the store fully stocked. 
• Carry out any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Ordinary National Diploma or Bachelor's or an Associate Degree in Retailing, Merchandising, Supply Chain Management or any related discipline from an accredited institution.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and abilities
• Ability to effectively organize and network in accord with the store staff and production teams.
• Self-motivated and independent Worker
• Should be an efficient time manager and have the ability to meet deadlines and targets.
