CCL has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Master Scheduler to be based in Nigeria.

Job Position: Planning Assistant - Nigeria

The Role
CCL CCL Contracts Consultancy Limited has been requested by a major international oil company to provide a Planning Assistant. Residential position based in Port Harcourt. Contract duration 1 year (renewable). Travel as required. Attractive daily rate and T&Cs.


The Person
Technical background required. Minimum 5 years of experience in a related position, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry and / or construction industry. Review and analyse contractor scheduling and planning documents (procedures). Monitor progress and control Project activities. Identify potential delays, analyse and issue proposed corrective actions as required. Prepare the Project Planning documents. Prepare the weekly report. Elaborate monthly progress report. Liaise with cost controller to define progress measurement. File the planning related documents according the document filing system.


Qualification Required
Ideal candidate will be degree qualified or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Knowledge of project planning practises. Practice of Primavera V6. Practice of MS Project. Computer literacy. Strong communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential.
