We are recruiting to fill the position below

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Ikorodu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily routine inspections of facilities to proactively identify potential faults and address them before they lead to failures.
  • Identify and analyze faults to determine their root cause and resolve them.
  • Escalate issues to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Ensure that issues are properly logged and closed following the company's policies.
  • Perform preventive and proactive maintenance on facilities as detailed in manuals.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities in top form and ensure they are clean.
  • Monitor equipment usage to prevent mishandling.
  • Ensure proper handover of issues during shift changes.
  • Complete Spare Requisition Forms and Job Completion Forms and obtain required sign-offs.
  • Create Equipment History Cards upon issue resolution and closure.
  • Contribute to energy-saving initiatives and work towards reducing energy consumption and costs.
  • Follow up on escalated issues until they are resolved.
  • Prepare and submit daily reports in a timely manner.
  • Provide feedback on vendor and service provider performance to support their evaluation.
  • Build expertise in assigned areas and equipment.
  • Propose ideas and recommendations related to operations, equipment, preventive maintenance, and spare parts management.
  • Continuously train and develop oneself.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and departmental initiatives.
  • Test and confirm the quality of diesel and sign off before reception.

Qualifications

  • OND, HND and BTech holders are eligible to apply
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be computer literate.
