Job Overview

  • We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Loader Supervisor to join our FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) company in Nigeria.
  • Loader Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating the efficient loading and unloading of products onto and from vehicles, ensuring the safe and timely distribution of our products to various destinations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the loading and unloading of goods onto trucks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  • Supervise a team of loaders and provide clear instructions for efficient and safe work.
  • Maintain accurate records of loaded products and ensure proper documentation.
  • Train new loaders and provide ongoing guidance to improve performance.
  • Implement and enforce safety regulations and guidelines in the loading area.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the appropriate authorities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the inventory team as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized loading area.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of loading processes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of SSCE.
  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in asupervisory role as a Loader Supervisor in a fast-paced FMCG environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in loading operations.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and record-keeping.
  • Ability to operate relevant equipment and machinery.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of FMCG distribution processes is advantageous.
