Job Title: Machine Operator (Manufacturing)

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun

Job Description

• The company is looking to hire an experienced machine operator who will be responsible for operating the machines at rated speeds and desired efficiency while observing machines and people's safety.
• The Ideal candidates for this role must have solid experience in the operations of machines, conduct daily machine maintenance, and maintain good manufacturing practices during shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspecting equipment and conducting routine maintenance.
• Ensure that all safety standards applicable to the machines are adhered to during the shift.
• Conduct weekly and periodic maintenance of the machine.
• Ensure that a high level of ownership is displayed during and after the shift
• Ensure daily production volume targets are met by eliminating controllable operational downtimes at all times
• Adhering to all safety and performance regulations.
• Supervising the maintenance of production and electrical equipment
• Maintain the facility maintenance schedule
• Perform and supervise maintenance-related repairs
• Maintain equipment and supplies to ensure safe operation of the facility
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained
• Review daily work orders and provide reports
• Troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
• Lead, train, and supervise maintenance workers

Key Requirements

• Minimum of OND in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or any related course.
• 3+ years of work experience in operations of machines
• Good Technical knowledge and Troubleshooting skills
• Ability to follow instructions and production schedule.
• Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards.
• Ability to work in good relationships with other team members.
• Good decision-making and ability to act quickly when problems arise.
• Good reporting and communication skills.
• Good concentration and work discipline.
• Documentation and organization skills.
• Full understanding of customers’ expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the Impact of failure/cost of poor quality.

Compensation
Base Pay of N100,000 - N140,000 Monthly net + other interesting benefits.
