The Governing Council, in accordance with the relevant sections of the University's statutes, invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:

Job Title: Lecturer I / II

Location: Benin City, Edo

Requirements

• A Doctorate (PhD) or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
• Applicants for lecturer I with M.Eng. / M.Tech. must have spent at least 3 years as a Lecturer II in a recognized University.
• Candidates with published articles in journals will have an advantage.
• Knowledge of programming languages, knowledge and application of relevant software is required
• COREN registration is an advantage.
• The candidate must be able to teach courses as well as supervise students' projects at undergraduate level in the following areas:
  • Civil Engineering
    • Survey and photogrammetry; Geotechnical Engineering: Hydraulic and hydrology
    • Engineering: Highway and Transportation
    • Engineering: Design of hydraulic structures and Coastal Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
    • Thermal power, Applied energy and automobile Engineering.
