WorkSpace Global - Our client, an indigenous Investment Banking institution, is urgently recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Head, Equity Sales Trader - Investment Banking
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Developing the company's clients base by effectively working with current and bringing in new clients.
- Selling company's products and services (brokerage and research) to the assigned clients.
- Ensuring that all assigned clients are promptly informed about all available company's products and services.
- Builds and maintains strategic working relationships with clients.
- Analyzing needs of all assigned clients, ensures that needs are met.
- Providing the clients with necessary information on market trends according to the company rules and procedures.
- Controlling the appropriate use of the information by clients.
- Providing accurate monthly sales forecasts by product, by client, in accordance with the internal planning system.
- Responsible for analysis of sales information and by data value/volume/product in the assigned area.
- Maintaining continuous feedback to line manager, in particular feedback on opportunities and issues arising during the work, and especially competitive presence and actions.
Qualification
- A B.Sc. Degree (Economics, Business management, Mathematics & statistics preferred) with minimum of 2:1;
- A masters degree will be an added advantage;
- Professional qualification such as CFA, ICAN, ACCA, CIS and MBA would be an added advantage;
- At least 4 years experience as a front office Equity Sales person in a Top investment bank.
