We therefore require competent and qualified candidate who has in-depth understanding of cyber security threats, technologies and counter measures to secure the IT infrastructure.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: IT Security Specialist
Location: Nigeria
Essential Functions
- Continuously identify threats and vulnerabilities on the systems, serves network and proactively introduce counter measures to address these risks.
- Ensure that the risk is minimized through security baselines, patches and configurations management.
- Carry out system security plans (SSP) and Risk Assessments (RA) to ensure systems are operated, maintained and disposed o in line with policies.
- Monitor systems and network for security threats and unauthorized users.
- Involve in ensuring system and network security risks are adequately covered during the Network design stage of a solution.
- Support other technical personnel for continuous implementation of pre-established security baselines and configuration of systems and Network.
- Participate in compliance inspections, audits and reviews if needed.
- Developed/document security related processes or procedures as required
- Develop and implement plans to safeguard computer files against unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure.
- Create awareness about computer security among co-workers.
Qualification, Experience and Skills
- B.Sc in Computer Science or related Science disciplines with a minimum of Second Class Honours, Lower Division or HND, Upper Credit
- Good working experience of security Architecture and Network security practices
- Security-centric certifications are required such as CISSP, CCNA etc
- Minimum of 5 years relevant practical IT security experience
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Dedicated and strong team player.
