We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Area Sales Manager (Electrical Light Fittings)

Location: Surulere, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Area of Coverage: Apapa, Ijora, Satelite, Surulere / Costain

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and managing of dealer and distribution channels.
  • Setting up the sales team and sales organization.
  • Relationship Management – Real Estate Consultants, Property and Building developers, Government Bodies.
  • Presentation, marketing and sales to developers, builders, projects, and contracts.
  • Drawing up and achieving the sales targets – sales team, channel partners, and region.
  • Launching and anchoring the brand as one of the lead players over a reasonable period of time.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
  • Represent the brand during all customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions.
  • Attend work trade shows for the company in assigned territory.
  • Ensures contacts receive marketing literature; answers any questions and obtains any further information necessary for customers.
  • Achieve and exceed sales quota and business targets with the assigned partners.
  • Execute channel strategy with the assigned partners and implement necessary critical tasks.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of the strategy, identify opportunities and areas for improvement, and suggest and implement approved corrective measures.
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all account management matters for the selected channel partners, as well as act as a trusted advisor for these partners.
  • Continually monitor the performance and competency level of dealers

Requirements

  • Undergraduate Degree in any discipline.
  • 5 to 7 years experience in front-line sales – preferably in Highbay, Spot light, Track Light, e.t.c.
  • 2-3 years experience at a sales managerial capacity handling a sales team with individual and group targets.
  • Exposure to channel sales and management – distribution/dealer network.
  • Exposure to institutional sales/relationship management.
  • Must have worked in local markets in the region
  • Outgoing and Sales oriented personality.
  • Pleasing profile and good interpersonal skills.
  • Self-starter – roll up the sleeves attitude.

Remuneration
N150,000 - N250,000 Monthly.
