Job Summary
- We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Outsourced Bookkeeper to manage and maintain the financial records and accounts for our clients.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 7 years of relevant experience and be a Chartered Accountant.
- The Bookkeeper will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data, preparing financial reports, and supporting our clients in managing their finances effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare and process client invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Prepare and file tax returns and assist with tax planning for clients.
- Provide financial advice and guidance to clients to support their financial decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Work closely with clients and our HR consulting team to understand their financial needs and provide tailored financial solutions.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting for clients.
- Keep abreast of accounting best practices and regulatory changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Chartered Accountant (ICAN) certification is required.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Client-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
- Strong ethics and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
