International Breweries was established in December 1971 and listed on The Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1995.  AB InBev consolidated its business stakes in Pabod Breweries Limited and Intafact Beverages Limited, this merger which concluded in December 2012 and made AB InBev to the major owner of International Breweries Plc.

Key Purpose

• The key purpose of this role is to co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the level one maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Maintaining the integrity and security of maintenance systems.
• Developing and maintaining documentation as well as its integrity. Coach, guide and assist with training of all maintenance staff.
• Assist with ensuring that system architecture environment remains aligned with the regional asset care strategy and beer division standards.
• Developing a strong understanding of the relevant SAP system modules. Organizing the systems and business preparations for SAP take-on procedures.
• Maintain packaging maintenance integrity.
• Plan and implement maintenance priorities.
• Manage Maintenance performance indicators.
• Optimise plant availability.
• Sharing of learning’s internally and throughout the division.
• Conduct administration.
• Support continuous improvement

Minimum Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering qualification
• At least 4 years experience within a maintenance environment, preferably with some supervisory experience
• Detailed mechanical knowledge of plant with in-depth understanding of electrical and instrumentation aspects
• PC literacy (Microsoft office package/SAP).
