Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• Proceed with supplier registration and pre-qualification, ensuring quality assurance, quality control, and Health, Safety, and compliance.
• The procurement officer will diligently handle all personal protective equipment (PPE) requests, ensuring timely follow-up and coordinating payment procedures.
• The procurement officer takes charge of all purchase order (LPO) requests, effectively communicating with suppliers and ensuring thorough follow-up to ensure the smooth fulfillment of orders.
• Manages inventory of warehouse stock items including filters and personal protective equipment (PPE) from suppliers.

Requirements

• B.Sc Economics, Engineering, or Supply Chain management.
• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) will be an advantage.
• 2 - 5 years of experience.
• Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Microsoft 356, Internet skills.
• Good sourcing skills and vendor network.
• Knowledge of Procurement process.
• Negotiation skills.
• Vendor Sourcing Skills.
• Suppliers' relationship Management.
