We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Location: Agbara, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Purpose

• This role is responsible for maintenance of machines and other utilities at the Plastics Plant.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that machine maintenance and inspections are carried out regularly
• Regular check of hydraulic hose and joint leakages as well as barrel heater
• Monthly preventive maintenance
• Routine repairs and replacement of faulty machines
• Efficient utilization of spare parts to avoid wastages
• Documentation process and maintenance of records
• Ensure that employees comply with relevant Quality Management System (QMS), Occupational Health and Safety Assessment Series (OHSAS), & Environmental Management System (EMS) policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field
• 1-3 years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of industrial machine installations and repairs
• Good knowledge of plastic production process
• Sound knowledge of Injection Mould machines’ maintenance
• Reading of technical/engineering drawings
• Use of Microsoft Offices – Excel, Words, Navision etc
• Good communication skills - oral and written.
