Next Gear Group is a Nigerian real estate company having its headquarters in Abuja, Nigeria. The company comprises five subsidiaries; Next Gear Resources, Next Gear Homes, Next Gear Facility Managers, Next Gear Project Support and Watch My Property Concepts. Our mission is to provide affordable housing using the strictest quality while providing essential services to manage and maintain various types of buildings both for corporate and individual clients. Through our various subsidiaries we engage in human capital development, real estate development, construction of buildings and property policing.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Chief Operations Officer

Location: Abuja (FCT)

What you’ll be doing

• As the Chief Operation Officer at Next Gear Group, you’ll provide strategic direction and leadership for the overall operations of the company, oversee the day-to-day operations and long-term strategies that drive the success and growth of the entire group.
• You would be directly responsible for making sure that your team understands the vision and running in the same direction and at a great pace.

What your day-to-day looks like Sync with your team through the line managers on direction for the week/day:

• Oversee resource allocation, including budgeting, to optimize financial performance.
• Foster collaboration among different departments to ensure a unified approach to achieving organizational objectives.
• Ensure smooth transitions during periods of organizational growth or transformation.
• It also differs from day-to-day.

What you need to have

• 10 years of experience in the role indicated or related roles.
• MBA in Project Management
• Must be an Interior Designer
• A Marketing Consultant, Excellent communication skills, relationship management skills, problem-solving skills and critical thinking skills with a business owner mentality. Someone truly invested in the tech space.
