Job Description
- The Field Sales Representative is required to develop sales strategies and attract new clients.
- The successful salesperson will source new sales opportunities and close sales to achieve quotas.
- The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing and negotiating with clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects and managing sales of products and services.
- As an outside Sales Representative, or Sales Agent, they will also research sales competition.
Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell products to existing and prospective customers.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with all customers.
- Manage products by collecting purchase orders, checking products positioning on shelves, checking stock-level and following up on payments with customers.
- Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments.
- Manage merchandising, exhibitions, events and programs across territory
- Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports and insights to the Sales team Lead on all activities and efforts.
Requirements
- OND / HND / B.Sc qualification
- Must possess minimum of 2-3 years field sales experience
- Willingness to travel within assigned locations as a field sales rep
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office suite
- Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to negotiate and close sales
- Ability to meet target
- Reporting skills
- FMCG experience is required
- Proximity to location is key.
Remuneration and Benefits
- N80,000 Monthly.
