Job Description

• We are seeking a talented and experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team.
• As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, product managers, and system administrators, to deliver robust and scalable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and Development: Architect, develop, test, and maintain server-side components of our software applications.
• Database Management: Design and optimize database schemas, and write efficient SQL queries. Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases is a plus.
• API Development: Create and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Scalability and Performance: Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, considering factors such as server load, network latency, and data volume.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Code Review: Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Security: Implement and maintain security best practices to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Monitoring and Debugging: Set up and maintain monitoring systems to identify and troubleshoot performance issues. Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for the codebase, APIs, and systems architecture.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the continuous improvement of our software development processes.
