We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Food Business Analyst

Location: Lagos

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate across units within the food production team and other teams to understand daily operations, gather data, and improve data tracking systems.
• Work with all units to ensure data input is clean/
• Teach all units how to be strong with using and manipulating data
• You will be responsible for analyzing all relevant cost data associated to determine food product cost performance and set up cost targets in collaboration with stakeholders at predetermined intervals.
• Collaborate with the procurement unit to carry out market data analysis to determine opportunities for cost savings, and make recommendations
• Responsible for assessing market strategies, trends, and researching & analyzing similar products in the market.
• Menu costing menus and providing cost effective recommendations.
• You will be responsible for analyzing and understanding customer orders to give business insights around customer behaviour, and suggest methods to improve food product performance.
• Responsible for auditing and setting up best analytics tools to enable efficient data tracking, investigation, and proactive data analysis & business decision making.
• Determine cost and operational initiatives that improve the food product performance in collaboration with the business operations unit on the Food Production team.
• You will be responsible for carrying out any other required analytics around the food business and present reports/insights to stakeholders weekly.

Job Requirements
Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree required in Analytics, Economics, Business Administration Education or other related fields
• Certifications are a plus!
• Should have at least 2 years data analysis experience; business intelligence analysis experience is a plus!
• Previous work experience analyzing food business data is a plus!

Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in the use of spreadsheets (Excel, Google e.t.c.)
• Comprehensive report writing and presentation.
