We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Cashier / Finance Assistant
Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Handle cash transactions with customers and ensure accuracy in balancing cash drawer
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records
- Process invoices, receipts, and other financial documents
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Provide excellent customer service during transactions
- Collaborate with the finance team to support various financial tasks.
Qualifications
- Education qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1 - 2 years work experience.
- Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar role
- Basic understanding of financial principles
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software is a plus.
