Role profile

• Our client is searching for an astute professional for the position of Chief Operating Officer who will be responsible for overseeing operations for the group.

Role Expectations

• The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the business operations of the group companies.
• Provide strategic advice to the group's managing director on company operations.
• Translation of strategies into actionable steps for sustainable growth and improved market share
• Lead organization efforts on implementing organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
• Drive business initiatives, operation strategies, and policies for the purpose of minimizing expenses.
• Implement the company's business plans and strategic intentions.
• Fostering the group company’s alignment with the business model and corporate goals
• Drive the business development initiative within the group companies and provide leadership to the portfolio line managers.

Roel Requirements

• The candidate must reside in Ibadan.
• Master's Degree or its equivalent in Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline
• A minimum of 5 years’ relevant professional experience with at least 2 years in a similar managerial capacity
• Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and execution skills.
