Job Title: Buyer / Procurement Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Description
- Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends
- Carry out intermittent reviews of existing stores' product offerings and rate of sales.
- Evaluate supplier options according to prices, quality etc. and determine the best choices
- Carry out periodic price surveys of product lines.
- Discover and purchase new products and check the quality and popularity of those already in the store
- Negotiate terms of agreements (SLA) to achieve the best deal for the company
- Ensure the timely delivery of products and compliance with the contracts of purchase
- Monitor stock levels and make plans for buying within budget
- Create reports on sales, budgets and customer satisfaction and adjustment of strategies accordingly
- Forge and maintain trust relationships with suppliers to promote fair dealing (Vendor Management)
- Examine promotion details and resolve any pricing discrepancies if needed
- Attend events, fairs and exhibitions to remain up-to-date with the market’s trends
- Recommend new product offerings based on consumer research
- Perform consumer research to determine product demand
- Handle all customers inquiries and requests
- Prepare and present sales projections
- Interface with vendors to provide products samplings for customers
- Perform all other functions as assigned by Management.
Salary
N60,000 - N100,000 / month.
