Job Title: Quality Assurance / Control Officer
Location: Shomolu, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure printed materials meet established standards and client specifications.
- Conduct thorough inspections and tests on printed materials at various stages of production to identify defects, inconsistencies, or errors.
- Process Monitoring: Monitor and analyze printing processes, machinery, and equipment to maintain consistent quality output.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of quality tests, inspections, and corrective actions taken.
- Problem Resolution: Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement corrective measures.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and quality protocols throughout the printing process.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancements to improve overall quality standards and production output.
- Analyze quality-related data to identify trends, patterns, or areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control processes and best practices.
Qualification and Requirements
- HND / B.Sc in Printing Technology, Graphic Design, Industrial Engineering, or any related field.
- 2-3 years experience as a Quality Assurance/Control officer in Printing and Advertising Company
- In-depth understanding of printing processes, materials, and quality control methods.
- Keen eye for detail to spot even minor defects in printed materials.
- Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and make informed decisions.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and convey quality standards and issues.
- Proficient in identifying problems and implementing corrective actions to ensure quality standards are met.
- Ability to manage documentation, records, and multiple tasks efficiently.
