Job Overview

• As a Senior Network Engineer, you will take a leadership role in designing, implementing, and managing the organization's network infrastructure.
• This position requires a high level of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex network architectures, including LAN, WAN, and data center networks.
• Provide technical leadership in the development of network solutions.
• Lead the resolution of complex network issues, providing guidance to junior engineers.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement permanent solutions.
• Implement and manage advanced security measures to safeguard the organization's network.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct capacity planning to ensure the scalability and performance of the network infrastructure.
• Optimize network performance through continuous monitoring and analysis.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions to enhance network capabilities.
• Lead the integration of new technologies into the existing network infrastructure.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
• Conduct training sessions to enhance the team's technical skills.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, procedures, and protocols.
• Generate regular reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate products, negotiate contracts, and obtain support when needed.
• Manage relationships with technology partners and suppliers.
• Lead network-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale IT initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices.
• Participate in strategic planning for the organization's IT infrastructure.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Significant experience as a Network Engineer, with a focus on progressively complex responsibilities.
• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) or equivalent certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of advanced networking concepts, protocols, and technologies.
• Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
