Descriptions
- The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the estates fleet operations.
- He/She will be in charge of monitoring fleet personnel's operations.
- Manage health, safety and routine checks on all vehicles and fleet clerks/drivers.
- Oversee strategic development and maintenance of relevant fleet records and liaise with automobile suppliers.
- Must be able to recruit, interview, select, coach and train fleet clerks/drivers.
- Potential candidate must be confident, self-motivated and result-orientated individuals who can provide executive management leadership to ensure that all set targets for the company are met and surpassed.
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies
- 3 year experience gained in a similar position with various vehicle industry trucks e.g. Pickups
- A Diploma or Degree in Transport, Automobile Engineering or related courses
- Must be able to use fleet management software, tracking system and have a good knowledge of Nigerian roads.
- Good knowledge of all transport legislation, traffic regulations and procedures to ensure company compliance.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
