We have been an established company since August 2022 and have worked successfully on over 80 vehicle related issues. As a brand that is fully committed to giving our customers ease, we offer services via Home Service and as our name implies,‘On The Go’at any place within Lagos and Ogun state, with a view to expand to other locations soon.

Job Title: Service Advisor

Role Overview

• As a Service Advisor Intern at Mechanic on the Go, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and exceptional customer experiences.
• Your responsibilities will include documenting customer concerns, coordinating repair services, and maintaining transparent communication throughout the service process.
• We're looking for an individual with drive, passion, and a commitment to excellence to help drive our startup forward.

Responsibilities
Customer Interaction:

• Document customer problems/symptoms in a workshop order.
• Define the scope and type of work required for repair and maintenance.

Coordination:

• Coordinate the scope of services with customers and obtain their approval.
• Use checklists for service reception, ensuring the proper performance of each work step.

Documentation:

• Transparently document all work performed and required parts for the customer.
• Maintain accurate records of completed maintenance and repair orders.

Customer Satisfaction:

• Ensure the customer's vehicle is in order and appointments are kept.
• Handle customer queries and concerns with professionalism and efficiency.

Monitoring and Coordination:

• Monitor the completion of maintenance and repair orders.
• Coordinate order additions or appointment changes with customers and the workshop.

Social Media Content Creation:

• Capture video content of technician works for the company's social media pages.
• Contribute to building the company's online presence and engagement.

Requirements

• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Resides in or around the Ikeja axis.
• Ability to jumb bus. Majority of Services are home based
• Confidence and charisma to interact effectively with customers.
• Passion for the automotive industry and willingness to contribute to the growth of a startup.
• Basic automobile/technical knowledge and skills.
