Job Title: Property Manager

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Our client is looking to hire a Property Manager to oversee daily property operations, promote vacant properties, and manage tenant interactions effectively.
  • The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining operational efficiency, enhancing property value, and meeting tenant needs for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Attract new tenant through advertising, property viewing, and encouraging referrals.
  • Negotiating and enforcing lease agreement.
  • Addressing tenant complaints and inspecting vacated units.
  • Collect rent and service charge, dealing with late payments.
  • Marketing of properties for sale and lease to potential customers.
  • Terminating leases and initiating eviction proceedings.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties, identify maintenance and repair needs to meet acceptable standard
  • Ability to maintain positive and productive relationship with clients and customers.
  • Maintaining records of income, expenses, signed leases, complaints, maintenance, etc.
  • Preparing reports on the financial performance of properties.

Qualifications

  • Degree in andidates should possess Bachelor's Degrees in Real Estate, Property Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • 3 - 4 years relevant work experience.
  • Previous experience as a property manager or in a similar role (Law firm is a plus).
  • Working knowledge of property regulations, job and market knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management software.
  • Understanding of marketing and accounting principles.

Must have skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
