We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Crane Operator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate Cranes: Safely and efficiently operate different types of cranes, including mobile cranes, tower cranes, and overhead cranes, in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Load and Unload: Lift and move heavy materials and equipment to and from specified locations, ensuring precise positioning and adherence to weight limits.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and report any issues promptly.
• Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with ground personnel, signalers, and other operators to ensure safe and coordinated operations.
• Routine Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance on cranes, including inspections, lubrication, and minor repairs. Report any mechanical issues to the maintenance department.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of daily crane operations, including lift plans, equipment inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations quickly and efficiently, following established protocols to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment.
• Training and Development: Stay updated on industry best practices, safety standards, and technological advancements in crane operations. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience as a Crane Operator, with a track record of safe and efficient crane operations.
• Certification: Possession of a valid crane operator certification/license issued by a recognized authority.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of crane operations, load charts, rigging techniques, and safety protocols.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, balancing, and working at heights. Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness are essential.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to understand and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in dynamic and challenging environments.

Salary
N100,000 - N250,000 / month.
