Job Title: Restaurant General Manager

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Description
Leadership and Team Management:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and training sessions.

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control of food and service.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels.
  • Implement and maintain restaurant policies and procedures.

Customer Service:

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing customer complaints and resolving issues.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to make improvements as needed.
  • Train staff to provide excellent customer service.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the restaurant budget.
  • Monitor and control costs, including food, labor, and operating expenses.
  • Prepare financial reports and analyze financial data.

Marketing and Sales:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract customers.
  • Work with the marketing team to promote the restaurant through various channels.
  • Monitor sales and suggest initiatives to increase revenue.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain a safe and clean environment.

Vendor and Supplier Relations:

  • Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services.

Business Development:

  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase profitability.

Reporting:

  • Provide regular reports to higher management on the restaurant's performance.
  • Analyze key performance indicators and take corrective actions as needed.

Community Engagement:

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with the local community.
  • Participate in community events and sponsorships.

Qualifications

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree / BSc / MA / MiM in relevant fields with 4 - 7 years work experience.
  • Previous experience in restaurant management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
  • Financial acumen and budget management skills.

Salary
N200,000 - N300,000 monthly.
